During the third week of October each year, credit union Members worldwide celebrate International Credit Union Week. Credit unions have kept their purpose constant for more than 150 years. Today, more than 177 million people belong to 49,134 credit unions, worldwide!

Join RCU as we celebrate International Credit Union Week and pay tribute to the credit union difference.

Unlike financial institutions whose purpose is to create profit for stockholders, RCU is a full-service financial cooperative, which means our focus is simply to serve our Members who participate in the cooperative. Each member has an equal vote in electing a volunteer board of directors. Since there are no stockholders, members receive higher rates on their savings accounts, lower rates on loans, and lower service fees.
