Identity theft is among the fastest growing crimes in America. Redwood Credit Union (RCU) is committed to assisting Members to prevent identity theft from occurring to you, and in the unfortunate event that it does, we provide helpful resources to assist you to respond quickly and effectively. Following are helpful resources available to assist Members prevent identity theft:

  • Identity Fraud Inc.
    RCU Insurance Services has partnered with Identity Fraud, Inc. to assist Redwood Credit Union (RCU) Members with protection from identity fraud, which can be both financially and emotionally devastating.
  • Identity Theft Education from BalanceTrack
    Identity theft is an increasingly common and inventive federal crime. Fortunately, there are many preventative measures you can take to substantially reduce the chance of identity theft occurring, as well as steps you can take to minimize damage if you are a victim. This program covers what you need to know.
