Automated Transaction Services
RCU Members can take advantage of a variety of automatic transaction services, including direct deposit, payroll deduction and share account transfers, that offer a variety of benefits including:
- Avoid standing in line
- Safe and immediate credit of your funds to your RCU account(s)
- Begin earning dividends immediately (on dividend-earning accounts)
Deposits
Direct Deposit
Members receiving paychecks or recurring government checks may be able to take advantage of RCU's direct deposit services. This convenient service allows you to have your entire paycheck or government checks (i.e.: Social Security/Supplemental Social Security, Military/Veterans, STRS, PERS) automatically deposited into your RCU account(s). You have the choice of having funds directly deposited into your primary savings or checking account.
For direct deposit of your paycheck: check with your employer's payroll department to see if they offer direct deposit services through the Automated Clearing House processing system (ACH). If so, then download the Direct Deposit Authorization form. 
For direct deposit of recurring government checks: Social Security Checks: Call Social Security at (800) 772-1213 or contact a local SSA office in person. At your request, they will set up direct deposit of your Social Security check(s) into your RCU account(s).
Direct Deposit Your Tax Return
Receive your tax refund as quickly as possible by requesting to have it direct deposited to your RCU Savings or Checking account! On your tax form, you'll need to supply Redwood Credit Union's Routing/Transit Number: 321177586, your RCU Member account number, and simply indicate either Savings or Checking.
Note: Do not include your desired share type along with your Member number (i.e. 10 for Checking) as this will cause your refund to reject. Simply check the box for 'Savings' or 'Checking' and receive your refund quickly and easily!

Transfers & Deductions
Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction services allow you to have a portion of your check automatically deposited into your RCU account(s).* To take advantage of this service, then visit one of our conveniently located branches or call a knowledgeable phone representative to assist you: 1 (800) 479-7928.
Share to Share Account Transfers
Members may automatically transfer funds from one share account to another, or make automatic loan payments. Members may also set up regular transfers to or from their RCU accounts and an account at another institution. Ask us for details!
If you would like to transfer funds between your account(s) at Redwood Credit Union, you may print this form and complete all required fields and mail or drop off the form at any RCU branch.
ACH Origination
Transfer funds to or from your account at Redwood Credit Union and your personal account at another institution electronically. You may print the form below, complete all required fields, and mail or drop off at any RCU branch.
If you have an existing transfer being done monthly to or from your account at Redwood Credit Union and your personal account at another Institution that you originated with Redwood Credit Union electronically, you may print this form and complete all required fields and mail or drop the forms off at any RCU branch.
Move Money
Transfer money between your Redwood Credit Union accounts and your accounts at other financial institutions from the comfort of your home.
With RCU’s Move Money service, you can:- Transfer funds to your RCU accounts from an external account FREE of charge.
- Transfer funds from your RCU accounts to an external account FREE of charge using our standard service.
- Add external accounts from other banks, credit unions or investment firms where you have accounts.
- The funds are usually available with in three business days.
- RCU Youth and Business accounts are not eligible for this service at this time.
