Redwood Credit Union Hosts Upcoming Blood Drives
Donate at Any of Six Sonoma County Locations, May 17 through May 22, 2010
Santa Rosa, CA – Redwood Credit Union (RCU) and Blood Bank of the Redwoods will once again partner for a weeklong blood drive “tour.” The event kicks off at RCU’s Administrative Offices in Santa Rosa on May 17, with stops in Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, and Ukiah throughout the week. RCU will also be hosting at the Blood Bank’s Santa Rosa headquarters, located 2324 Bethards Drive, Santa Rosa) all week. Please see attached schedule for a full list of dates and times. Members and the public are encouraged to donate; one blood donation to Blood Bank of the Redwoods can save up to 3 lives.

In 2009, RCU-hosted blood drives provided the Blood Bank with 163 units of blood, carrying the potential to save 489 lives.
RCU also actively partners with and supports a variety of other community non-profits throughout the year, including the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, Volunteer Network of Mendocino County, American Heart Association, United Way and others.
